LSS The Safetybox® range of chemicals, acids and bases offers certified cabinets for the storage of chemical products, acids and bases.

Since there are no specific regulations governing the storage of these products, we have collaborated with TUV SUD to create a reference standard to prevent the operator from inhaling toxic/hazardous substances.

The reference standards are EN61010-1, EN16121, EN16122 and PPP 52125A. To achieve certification, Safetybox® cabinets for chemicals, acids and bases must be equipped with an exhaust hood (IMQ IPX4) and an active charcoal filter, which must always be active.

The certified and non-certified models are part of the Safetybox® range for chemicals, acids and bases, as they are designed for the installation of only one motor and filter (not included).

Before using any chemical product, it is important to consult the product's technical data sheet to learn about the risk steps and safety recommendations.

Storage must always be carried out in a cabinet suitable for specific use, which guarantees direct ventilation or is guaranteed by a special air exchange system.

The AB 1100, AB 600, AB 1200/50 and AB 900/50 Safetybox® models have separate compartments, one for the storage of acids (with acid-resistant painted steel shelves) and one for bases (with stainless steel shelves).

The Safetybox® for chemicals, acids and bases is made of acid-proof materials, has a monolithic exterior and is equipped with shelves and a bottom container inside to collect spills. The doors open up to 180° to easily remove the tray-shaped shelves. The hinges are concealed and resistant to corrosive products.

In addition, the cabinets are equipped with a palletized base (including base cover) to simplify logistics and placement.

The new model AA 120 is equipped with the E-Flow® system, a device that protects the operator and the environment by regulating the aspiration. This device can also be installed on certain other models in the line.

For the Safetybox models for chemicals, acids and bases, special charcoal activated charcoal filters suitable for filtering specific substances are also available.

All models in the line are equipped with a removable cylinder key lock.

Safetybox® cabinets are covered by Product Liability Insurance, which covers damage to persons or property caused by construction defects.
