Mobile LAF Units

Faster Unit modules are vertical laminar flow units providing Class ISO 3 according to ISO 14644-1; they can be combined to create small to room sized cleanroom environments. These LAF modules can be supported by stainless steel feet or suspended from the ceiling by eye bolts placed on top of each module.

The modules are mounted side by side or joined at the head to achieve the required dimensions. Heavy duty PVC strips provide side retention to ensure optimum efficiency of laminar airflow.

They feature AISI 304L stainless steel construction, modular designs and a wide range of sizes to provide large work areas with vertical or horizontal laminar airflow.

The H14 HEPA/ULPA filters meet ISO Class 5 according to ISO 14644-1 and are protected by washable polyurethane foam pre-filters.

Direct drive centrifugal fans are equipped with electronic or autotransformer speed regulation to compensate for the gradual clogging of the HEPA/ULPA filter.

The ambient air is drawn in from the top of the modules through a G4 pre-filter and then drawn down through absolute H14 HEPA/ULPA filters and flows into the work area as a laminar flow. From there, this air is completely exhausted to the outside at floor level and through the front opening.

The air is then recirculated to the outside of the strip curtains (which must contain the air flow) and is drawn in by the pre-filters in the upper area.

The casing structure is made entirely of stainless steel AISI 304L and press-bent metal sheets with a radius of 3 mm for easy cleaning and a roughness of less than 0.8Ra.

Anodized aluminium filter protection grille.

Pre-filtration stage consisting of G4 filtration cells made of stainless steel AISI 304L with a retention value of typically 80 ≤ Am > 90 according to EN 779.

Filtration stage consisting of main H14 HEPA/ULPA filters with low pressure drop certified typical 99.995% MPPS efficiency according to CEN EN 1822. Filters can be replaced from the bottom (BR series) or from the side of the module (SR series).

Improved bag plenum design for better airflow diffusion and lower noise level. Dynamic sealing in accordance with GMP requirements to prevent possible risks of dirty external air bypass filter.

Outlet for DEHS filter integrity testing.

Ventilation is provided by double inlet centrifugal AC motor blower.

Electrical supply 230 V/50 Hz single phase.
