LSS The Safetybox® flammable product range offers certified solutions for your needs for storing liquid and solid flammable materials.

Safetybox® Flammable Materials safety cabinets are certified according to EN14470-1, EN 16121, EN16122 and have a fire resistance class of Type 90 and Type 30.

The standard requires that safety cabinets used for storing liquid flammable materials have natural ventilation (provided by the presence of two certified valves) and that an air circulation of at least 10 times the volumetric capacity of the cabinet per hour is provided so that hazardous gas or vapour concentrations are not reached.

The cabinet can be connected to a motor suitable for suction of flammable vapours, which must be operational at all times.

If an air intake motor is available, it is also possible to install a granular activated charcoal filter, which is useful for filtering harmful vapors emitted by flammable materials to protect the health of laboratory operators.

Safetybox® cabinets for flammable materials are equipped with safety devices that are automatically triggered in the event of a fire and isolate the flammable materials inside the cabinet, preventing the fire from coming into contact with other fuel sources. In the event of a fire, the automatic door closing system (at room temperature 50°C) is activated, the safety valves (at 70 ± 10°C) are closed to prevent air circulation and prevent fire from entering the cabinet, the inflating seals expand and close the cabinet. In addition, the Ignis-Lock device blocks the doors, making them impossible to open, providing greater safety.

Safetybox® cabinets are equipped with tray-shaped shelves and a bottom container for collecting spilled materials.

The fire-resistant insulation is made of completely ecological material with high fire resistance.

The Safetybox® models for highly flammable materials are equipped with a palletized base (including base cover) to simplify logistics and placement. The S series models are the most innovative, lightweight and spacious among the Safetyboxes for flammable materials. In this series, the weight of the cabinets has been significantly reduced compared to the CM series models. In addition, the safety devices are integrated internally for a cleaner, more linear and modern aesthetic appearance.
